The Defender TD5 has a cruise control as standard by putting a stone on the accelerator ;-). We want more comfort for long trips and have found it. Well-known off-road manufacturers already have a retrofit kit, but we wanted to save money in Swabia and did it ourselves.
ATTENTION: The control unit identification number must begin with NNN or NNW otherwise it will not work! You can either read out the number of your control unit with the Nanocom or you can look at the sticker. The control unit is located under the seat of the front passenger.

Installation instructions
We found the installation and wiring instructions at Landypedia . We led the wiring harness from the control unit towards the transmission tunnel, then along the frame towards the fan box. From the fan box across the engine compartment through the bulkhead directly to the speedometer. You can find the instructions on our YouTube Channel. As always, no guarantee and liability.
